Wildlife Safaris. Some of the major tourist sites to go to for Wildlife Safaris include National parks and Sanctuaries which are located in different regions of the country.
National Parks. Uganda is popularly recorded with over top ten National Parks situated in different regions of the country including Bwindi Impenetrable National Park and Mgahinga Gorilla National Park in the South western Uganda which are popularly known for shy endangered Mountain Gorillas.
Queen Elizabeth National Park is also on the list and popularly known for its famous Tree climbing lions plus its Wildlife offered, Murchison Falls National Park is located in Northwestern Uganda popularly known for Murchison falls and different Wildlife species including African Big Fives, Kibale Forest National Park is located in western Uganda popularly known for Chimpanzees.
Lake Mburo National Park, Semliki National Park and Mountain Rwenzori National Park are also located in western Uganda and popularly known for Wildlife, Mountain Elgon National Park is located in the Eastern part of Uganda and Kidepo Valley National Park which is majorly known for Wildlife is geographically located in the North Eastern part of Uganda.
Sanctuaries. Uganda is typically recorded with two major Sanctuaries which include Ngamba Island Chimpanzee Sanctuary located on the waters of Lake Victoria on an island which is part of the Koome group of islands, Ngamba is popularly known for habiting Chimpanzee primates.
The other sanctuary is the Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary which is geographically located in central Uganda in Nakitoma- Nakasongola district, this Sanctuary was established mainly to provide a home to the species of Rhinoceros and currently, only species of White Rhinoceros are found.

Cultural Tours. Majorly for Cultural tours in Uganda, you mainly focus on exploring Uganda’s culture through visiting its different cultural sites, different exciting tribes and more.
Some of the major cultural sites to visit while in Uganda include the Uganda Museum, Kasubi tombs, the Royal palace of the Buganda kingdom, the National Theatre, Ndere centre; Uganda martyrs Namugongo shrines, Igongo cultural centre and more.
Some of the exciting tribes to visit for interaction include the Batwa people who are found in the western wing of Uganda, these Batwa people were local hunters and gatherers who migrated from the Ituri forest reserve of the Democratic Republic of Congo, they depended on forests for the shelter sleeping in big tree branches and caves. Another ethical group to visit is the Matheniko in the Northern part of Uganda.
Adventure Tours. These majorly focus on really experiencing the natural feature characterised, some of the adventure sites include Mountains, Rivers, Lakes, falls and more.
